ENG vs IND : Rain Started Again in the Test Match

England’s team was all out on the score of 303 runs inside the second innings. India got a target of 209 runs for a healthy win. Lokesh Rahul was dismissed for 26 in India’s second innings. He was caught by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler at the hands of Stuart Broad.

At the same time, captain Joe Root scored the best 109 for England. Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets for sixty four runs for India. M Siraj and S Thakur took two and M Shami took one wicket.

The first Test of the 5-Test series is being played between India and England. Play on the fifth day has not started till 7:50 pm as per Indian timing due to rain. The umpires declared lunch time ahead of time. The rain had stopped at 6:30 in the evening but once again it has started drizzling.

India need to score 157 more runs to win the match and have 9 wickets left. Run-wise, this target does not look difficult, but the Indian batsmen will face the challenge of England’s best bowling line-up on Day 5.
