ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule and Date

So the schedule of T20 World Cup to be held between 16 teams in UAE this year has been announced, while the T20 World Cup to be held this year will start from October 17 while its final match will be played on November 14. So at the same time, although the BCCI has not yet officially told the ICC about shifting the T20 World Cup to the UAE, but in the circumstances, it is almost certain that this World Cup will be held in the UAE.

Talking about the rules of T20 World Cup to be held this year, according to the current plan, the first tour of T20 World Cup will be divided into two phases and it will be played in UAE and Onam and on the first round eight teams will be divided into two groups.

Four teams each will play 12 matches, out of which the top two teams from each of the two groups will qualify for the Super 12 and the top eight teams in the rankings will be part of the Super 12 and some of the first round matches with the UAE as well.

Onam will also be played. The matches will be played on the Super 12 round which will start from October 24. The teams included in the Super 12 will be divided into two groups of six teams each.

The matches of the Super 12 round will be played in three venues in the UAE, which will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. After this there will be three play-off matches which will include two semi-finals and one final and let me tell you that in view of the Corona crisis, the ICC has given time till 28 June to the BCCI to take a decision on hosting the T20 World Cup to be held this year.

But BCCI decided to shift it to UAE in view of the situation, so this year’s T20 World will not be played in India but in UAE and Oram and the tournament will start from October 17 while its The final match will be played on November 14.
